Soooooo....

So yes, I haven't blogged for a while. This is becoming a regular occurrence. I may have mentioned my horse, Meg, in previous posts, well I have spent most of the summer in and out of the horse hospital (the horspital?) with her trying to get her leg fixed. Sadly it can't be done and she has had to be retired - although she doesn't mind so much, now she gets to eat grass and roll in the mud all day.
However, that's not the end of my competitive dressage career - as there is a new horse on the way! She's called Chirma Van Weltevreden and we have imported her from Holland, the Land of Dressage. Here's some pictures:

OMG she is gorgeous! Just shown my Girls (they have just started in the world of Dressage! last year) Nice to hear she will get to roll in mud and enjoy herself though xx

Thanks guys - you can see a picture of Meggie in my last post too. And I'm sure they'll both be getting very muddy this winter - no matter how posh the horse they always seem to come in caked in the stuff! Good luck to your girls Hekate - hopefully they're having a fun and successful time.

A wet Wednesday watercolour project to try

I'm actually going to the theatre tonight, so it's more likely to be a soggy Thursday project, but I couldn't resist the alliteration! I fell in love instantly with this dip dyed watercolour stationary project from Paper & Stitch - definitely one for me to have a go at! I have card, but I also have little craft envelopes and TAGS (brilliant!) that would look amazing with this done.
